The story begins in the spring of the year, when you get a letter from Sebastian, who is looking for a job. You meet him at the lake, where you have a small cottage. In the evening, you meet Sebastian's friend, Demetrius. You talk and get to know each other. The next day, you see Sebastian at the fountain, and then you get a letter from him.
The story is about Sebastian's strained relationship with his father, and it is getting better after the story is told. The main characters are Sebastian, Demetrius, and Maru.
